3Com Device Manager 3.1

The suite provides access to the configuration settings of 3Com switches and routers. It requires admin access privileges and creates user profiles, manages access levels, assigns restrictions for data transfers, etc. The utility views router behavior and analyzes its integrity and security.

Device Manager for Solaris provides a graphical way to view, monitor and configure 3Com® Switches and Routers.
The default user is admin with a password of admin. The admin user can create other users.

It is recommended that the default admin password is modified the first time the admin user logs on.

There are two user privilege levels:

- administrator users have full configuration rights
- other users can monitor, but cannot execute any configuration operations.
